Key Responsibilities:
Site Industrial Safety Control Manager | Dutch Caribbean
Construction | Real EstateResponsible for ensuring that all workers on the construction site are following safety protocols and regulations, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries. This position requires extensive knowledge of industrial safety regulations and the ability to implement and enforce safety policies.
•Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and best practices.
•Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
•Work closely with construction crews to identify and address safety concerns.
•Provide safety training and education to all workers on the construction site.
•Investigate accidents and injuries to identify root causes and develop solutions to prevent future incidents.
•Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
•Communicate regularly with senior management regarding safety performance and compliance issues.
•Participate in the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
•Stay up to date on industrial safety regulations and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.The position requires the ability to move around a construction site and inspect various areas for potential safety hazards.
Primarily performed at a construction site and it requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
The construction site may be exposed to outdoor elements and may be noisy due to construction activities. The job may also require working irregular hours to ensure safety compliance during different phases of the construction project.
Required Qualifications:
Apply for This Job•Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field
•5+ years of experience in industrial safety control in the construction industry
•Strong knowledge of industrial safety regulations and best practices
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Strong leadership and management skills
•Certification in occupational health and safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), preferred
•Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeThe candidates from the Caribbean, Netherlands or USA are preferred.
