Key Responsibilities:

Be the integral part of the MAG Executive team with joint responsibility for defining the projects ’scopes and deploying them in accordance with the Business case parameters and defined success criteria to drive customer satisfaction & sustainable revenue.
Responsible for overseeing the Projects and Operations Teams as well as managing overall Operations & Maintenance of sites within the MAG team while ensuring compliance to operational & SHEQ processes and procedures and driving continuous improvement of re-fuelling, preventative & corrective maintenance, and the security processes on sites.

Project Portfolio Governance:
-Manage the MAG structural Portfolio Management (Analysis & QA) ensuring alignment with the customer requirements.
-Monitor Performance & Maintenance Capex budget to determine the delivery performance.
-Monitor project schedules throughout the delivery phase to ensure we achieve on-time delivery. Escalate delays to relevant personnel & follow-up on the recovery plan.
-Monitor actual forecast spend against budget and project baseline costs.
-Identify operational risks, escalate threats to project spend as well as realising opportunities to improve the commercial impact of the project.
-Ensure that all project deployments meet the success criteria of cost, quality, schedule & quality through the detailed definition of scope, management of risk to ensure the organisation realises the benefits defined in the business case.
-Circulate the weekly report for strategic projects, escalating key issues and risks where necessary whilst proactively leading mitigation/contingency plans.
-Chair project performance reviews and actively promoted continuous improvement in the planning and execution of projects.

Operations & Maintenance (Fuel, PM, CM & Security)
-Drive the implementation and continued development of Service Now (Fuel & PM & CM & Access)
-Manage overall sites performance (PUT, Opex Performance, Capex performance) through Compliance & reconciliation of maintenance schedules (Fueling & Preventative Maintenance) & execution as per Standard Operating Procedures.
-Ensure Timely closure of Corrective Maintenance Sites Work Order tickets
-Ensure the operations in MAG operates within Opex and Capex budgets
-Ensure Supply Chain has all information required to claim warranty on key spares and they are returned to the warehouse.
-Ensure adherence to SHEQ & Security policies & procedures in all aspects of the Operations and Projects activities
-Lead the management of key strategic partners for project delivery, operations & maintenance, fueling and security.

People Development
-Oversee the development and performance of the Operations & Projects Team key performance indicators.
-Cascade the Sustainability Key Performance Indicators of the Operations & Projects function to drive the departmental performance.
-Contribute to the identification of High potentials and potential successors of the Operations & Projects team and work with HR to put in place development actions.

-Ensure alignment with the Policies and Country regulatory requirements to mitigate any risk.
-Drive Ethics Management and champion Corporate Governance within both internal and external stakeholders.
-Work closely with Compliance to ensure ownership of the Code of conduct and conflict of interest policy

Required Qualifications:

-A Degree in Engineering or relevant similar fields
-10+ years’ experience in O&M Operations in MAG with at least 5 years in a Senior Leadership position
-Strong technical hands-on knowledge of Project Management, Power generation and contract management & supply
-Experience in supervising Operations & Projects teams is essential
-Experience in managing the Operations & Maintenance function in the industries such as Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Power & others
-Experience in managing Maintenance Partners
-Experience in leading negotiation
-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
-Project Management (recognised body- Practitioner Level)
