Description:

Support operations in developing and executing company’s Digital, VAS and content strategy as a key differentiator to increase revenues and customer loyalty.

Revive VAS
•Partner with local teams, CU and content providers to ensure there is a VAS content strategy delivering differentiation and value to the company’s customer base
•Implement KPIs and benchmarks that drive action and visibility on VAS
•Support Customer Service in the creation and enforcement mechanisms of a billing and communication policy from VAS providers aiming in a transparent and value service
•Provide tools development and training

Digital Lifestyle Champion
•In partnership with the operations formulate a digital vision and a value creating digital roadmap that enhances the brand and creates clear differentiation
•Foster local innovation and best practice sharing
•Deliver industry trends, benchmarks and know-how
•Lead regional partnership negotiations to leverage scale, working with local operations to ensure value creation at local level
•Support customer operations, brand, comms and sales & distribution in the digital channel strategy and execution

Winning Device Portfolio
•Work with device managers and CU to build a compelling portfolio to attract new and upgrade existing customers
•Provide deep knowledge and industry expertise of device business, thought leadership and consultative insights to design, develop, and implement the strategic plan
•Determine what devices and data applications are profitable products that satisfy consumer demand and substantially contribute to the growth.

Required Qualifications:

•At least 6 years driving VAS/Digital business growth in emerging markets (operational experience required)
•Strong knowledge on devices with desired experience (2 years+)
•Experience in dealing with teams in different regions/countries is a plus
•English proficiency and French is a plus

•World class digital and VAS expert with great commercial acumen
•Technology passionate, innovation focus
•Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
•Knows the implications in commercial actions to improve VAS/Digital revenues based on experience and fact based analyses
•Strong political and diplomatic capability.
•A talented developer of relationships and builder of trust – leading to results
•Financial ability – understands financial implications for the business and articulates investment cases adequately
•Effective working in a matrix, able to maximise relationships
•A conscientious communicator – promotes communication across the business, communicates clearly, engages others, articulates reasons for decisions, is open to others’ opinions
