Key Responsibilities:

Only candidates authorized to work in Madagascar will be considered.

-Ensure that the sites are maintained in optimum condition and that the Maintenance Partner achieves the contractual SLAs in a safe and efficient manner as well as overseeing and developing the QA Engineers team to achieve the operational performance goals
-Responsible for the overall management of all sites within the allocated region.
-Ensure that O&M Internal SLAs and objectives are met by ensuring that targets for Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance are met.
-Manage and co-ordinate the field supervisors and teams of the maintenance partner to ensure all sites are running effectively at all times.
-Responsible for the implementation of the ‘Maintenance Routine Checks’ of all regional sites, including the timely reporting to Manager Operations & Maintenance.
-Ensure Field Supervisors clear NOC reported site alarm faults in the defined timescales as per Service Level Agreements.
-Ensure that all problems solved, and report all irregularities in the entire region to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
-Provide accurate, complete and consistent daily, weekly, monthly sites status reports of the entire region to the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
-Ensure that accurate Weekly Regional Report and Weekly FGU Report are send on time to Operations & Maintenance Manager and fuel coordinator.
-Ensure that utility (ECG) bills are collected on time from Field supervisors and or ECG offices and are forwarded to manager of Operations and Maintenance for payment.
-Ensure that all stakeholders adhere to the HSE regulations in the region and promote HSE excellence program.
-Responsible for the quality assurance of activities on all sites within the region and reports all under standards activities to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
-Ensure that at all times installations in line with reducing cost of operations are fully operational.
-Regional point of contact (RPOC) for good communication with both internal and external customers.
-Ensure that all operational processes and procedures are adhered to within the region
-Ensure standard day, weekly & monthly SLA review meetings are held to address all performance issues within the region and send minutes of meeting to Head of Operations and Maintenance.
-Ensure there is enough spare parts with teams and minimum stock level are maintained I the warehouse are maintained within the region. Submit weekly report on spares within the region.
-Ensure accurate details of all equipment on sites within the region are captured in the company’s database Siterra and service now.
-Ensure the vehicles of the maintenance partner’s teams are in good conditions and are on the tracking system.
-Ensure all docking stations are working and there is enough spares available for access management within the region.
-Responsible to conduct special investigations into failures to avoid reoccurrence of faults and submit reports with recommendations accordingly.
-Ensure energy-conserving initiatives are strictly adhered to by all stakeholders in the region.
-Ensure all equipment are properly secured on all sites within the region.
-Ensure that man guards reports on duty where applicable within the region.
-Ensure that site incident tracker (SIT) is constantly updated and followed up for closure.
-Responsible for second level support to our maintenance partner during emergencies.
-Manage all required activities for new project kick-off and quality assurance within the region.
-Ensure that O&M spending are within financial budget & ensure Opex reductions project are delivered on timely to deliver expected results.
-Responsible for implementation of training and assessment all the maintenance partner resources within the zone.
-Lead by example to ensure that the SN standard workdays and consistent throughout the Zone.
-Ensure that sites equipment changes follow justification process before capex replacement.
-Work hand in hand with performance and engineering, site performance analysis (SPA) to ensure that the sites are optimized and configured.
-Ensure contract compliance with Maintenance and security partner Partners.
-Make sure the zonal operations achieve financial KPIs and zonal operation performance meets the Six Sigma level.
-Ensure that priority sites are closed on monthly basis to deliver expected performance on OPEX and PUT.

Required Qualifications:

-Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Civil Engineering
-3-5 years in a Management position
-Minimum 5- 7 years hands on experience in a Telecommunications/Power Generation environment will be an added advantage.
-Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt
