Key Responsibilities:

Work within the Projects Department, reporting to the Project Manager. Plan, monitor, control & coordinate all active projects with the aim of delivering on time, within budget, to the required level of quality & safely.

Responsible for ensuring that a project plan is created and signed off by the Project Manager and key stakeholders. The project plan must consist of scope definition, cost estimate, schedule, quality, safety and the identification of potential risks (treats & opportunities) all of which are established during the project Kick-Off.

The Project Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring, controlling and expediting activities during project execution, updating the project management documentation, identifying & escalating risks, coordinating management meetings and preparing status reports. At project close the Project Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Project Manager conduct a full project review.

• Project Management Capability – work closely with the Project Manager & Group team to develop process that enables to exceed its customer’s expectations during project delivery.
• Budget & time- creation of cost estimates & schedules that meet the project success criteria. Continually monitor & control cost & time to ensure success criteria is achieved.
• Quality – coordination & supervision of Project Quality Plan to ensure a systematic methodology for verifying all Quality Control related activities throughout the project. Project Supervisor must coordinate all project specifications, drawings and inspection, test & commissioning plans, gaining necessary approvals and ensuring the distribution and availability of information.
• Communication- Responsible for updating project status reports and arranging meeting with stakeholders (internally & externally) to ensure the defined communication plan in place is executed to keep all project personnel informed of project status, risks and opportunities.
• Risk Management & Scope – take a risk management approach to identify and managing opportunities and risks that maximize the potential of successfully achieving the project success criteria. Project Supervisor will be responsible for the updating of the project risk register and communicating/ aligning the organizations to the risks that are held in each project.
• Sales & Operations Planning- ensuring that project trackers and plans are established for all projects identified through the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Health & Safety- Must be conversant with and be able to demonstrate a proactive risk based approach to EHS, ideally with experience obtained through formal recognized training programs and on the job supervision.
• Resource Management- coordination of all materials, manpower and subcontractors required for the execution of the project.
• Project Management Process – projects to be executed in line with the defined Project Management processes. The Project Supervisor is the owner of all key project management documentation and is responsible to ensure that all databases, templates & reporting are kept up to date in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with the company requirements.
• Continuous Improvement- identify opportunities for improvement through structured project reviews and work with the Group and OpCo project management teams to improve process, quality and safety standards. Actively participate in building the global capability of the project management team through coaching and mentoring.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Mngineering / Project Management field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience preferably in complex engineering (Energy, Civil, Oil & Gas etc.) or capital type projects and can demonstrate or have evidence of successfully coordinating, controlling or supervising projects
