Head of Legal and Regulatory

To minimize the risks of decisions and optimize legal opportunities; to be the guarantor of all legal and administrative aspects related to the Company’s activities, as well as the strategy (global orientations) of the legal department.

• Conceiving, defining, and implementing the legal strategy (global orientations)
• Providing legal opinions to MD and leadership team, at their requests or whenever the need arises
• Validating contracts and drafting contracts that are sensitive for the Company
• Supervising the management of relations with lawyers and the daily follow-up of all cases and litigations to courts & tribunals
• Ensuring the update of the strategic information of the Company
• Actively participating in all meetings of professional organizations, drafting the minutes of resolutions and ensure that the administrative formalities are completed within the legal deadlines
• Monitoring and advising on contracts managed directly by the Human Resources Department, including employment contracts
• Attending all the disciplinary actions. Being a permanent member of the disciplinary committee
• Actively taking part in the management of pre-litigation and litigation cases

Required Qualifications:

• A professional of law, with a legal degree (MBA will be an asset)
• 5-7 professional experience in the legal field
• 3-5 years’ experience in the telecom industry – a plus
• Training and expertise in OHADA law will be an asset
• Good level of English and fluent French

• Always positive interpersonal relations
