Description:

•Plan, direct and control the general policies of the company
•Build strong communication links with the Board of Directors, the GM, as well as with other GMs of the Group worldwide.
•Coach, motivate and supervise day-to-day work of operational and technical managers and staff
•Grow a customer company from its significant number of existing subscribers
•Assist to monitor day-to-day activities of the company via heads of department
•Interface with local government / regulatory officials as necessary
•Ensure full compliance with the law of the country
•Manage annual business planning process and subsequent compliance with approved budget
•Manage regular reporting of information to the Board of Directors and shareholders in a timely and accurate manner
•Safeguard the assets of the company and comply with all fraud, internal and external audit requests
•Prepare regular board meetings
•Maximise the regulatory conditions under which the company operates
•Manage subordinates to meet plans and targets and maximize performance
•Submit reasonable capital expenditures (CAPEX) request to ultimate parent company and ensure the implementation on time and with budget
•Maximise adequate financing possibilities for the company
•Lead meetings, implement initiatives and perform any other duties as may be delegated by the General Managers
•Be aggressive in reducing and then keeping costs under control
•Team Management

Required Qualifications:

•University degree in Management, Industrial Engineer
•Preferably an MBA or Master’s Degree
•10+ years of experience in a multinational corporations
•Sound experience in commercial and project management
•Experienced in business strategies for expanding business
•Strong experience in leading and developing teams
•Comfortable in dealing with senior company / government personnel

•Strong leadership and supervision skills,
•Excellent people, interpersonal and relationship management
•Demonstrated stable proven track record in FMCGs, IT or Telecom company
•Enterprising and highly result-driven
•Fluent Portuguese and English
