Description:
Datawarehouse Manager
-Provide leadership and technical expertise for the implementation of information management strategies for decision-making and data exploitation
-Design, implement and manage the change management of the logical, conceptual and physical model of the Datawarehouse that allows to support the current and future information needs and to achieve a standardization of the physical architecture and the definition of logical objects of the database
-Ensure a convergent data model according to the needs
-Propose, lead and enforce the technological roadmap of the area
-Coolaborating with Stakeholders, suppliers, architects and other areas..
-Ensure compliance with IT Governance by ensuring the maintenance of a simple architecture by controlling and preventing the propagation of solutions that are not aligned with the strategy
-Define the investment needs of the area based on the requirements of its stakeholders and the local and regional IT guidelines
-Enhance the “Digital Lifestyle” within your area and ensure that all automation initiatives and prioritizations include that vision
-Manage and execute the CAPEX initiatives in the area that go from the completion of the technological roadmap as well as its execution and capitalization in time
-Participate in technical review and feasibility committees to make the operation of internal areas more efficient
-Establish procedures to evaluate and validate that new platforms for the storage and exploitation of information meet the requirements and meet the needs of the business
-Monitor and ensure compliance with defined IT standards in all investment initiatives involving suppliers
– Ensure compliance with SLAs – agreed with internal customers and product bussiness owners
-Know and stay up-to-date on Telecommunication regulation, industry trends and best IT practices and apply them on a day-to-day basis
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Managing Datawarehouse or Big Data Projects
• 5+ years of experience in Datawarehouse and / or Business Intelligence
• 5+ years of experience in Team Management
• Solid Knowledge of Project Methodology
• Experience with extraction, transformation and data loading (ETL)
• Knowledge of databases mainly: Oracle
• Strong knowledge in data mining, experience with MicroStrategy, COGNOS or similar
• Experience in Big Data projects (desirable)
• Experience in reengineering business processes, business systems analysis
• Experience in project management
• Good Database Knowledge
• Experience in different software development methodologies (desirable)
• Goodverbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Strong negotiating and persuading skills
•Excellent analytical and communications skills
• High capacity of approach and decision making
• Good Spanish and English
