Description:

Consumer Marketing Manager – Segment
Recognized as the Leader in the field and able to positively impact and drive product adoption both internally and externally ;

-Primary focus is developing and managing a product portfolio around Mobile and Internet solutions and VAS for consumer market in Tanzania
-Will become an expert for the specific market by conducting and analyzing market research in collaboration with BI department.
-Responsible for monitoring mass market commercial activity, follow-up the release of monthly KPIs and organize recurrent presentations to Steering Comitee.
-Responsible for creating and industrializing market leading services that execute the CWS consumer strategy.
-Demonstrate an innovative approach and differentiate CWS as a clear leader against the competition as well as providing clear value to the customer. The product and project development activity will be made in collaboration with all departments of CWS: Sales, Technical, IT, Finance…
-Continually develop, enhance, market, and life-cycle manage the products, and also be the initiator of Marketing campaigns or actions on different segments.
-Act as a support to Consumer distribution channels as well as customer service centers and call center to provide updated sales tools and coordinate the good go to market of all services, as well as a good after sales service.

Daily
•Daily monitoring of activity dashboard per consumer segment
•Definition of tactical actions (promotions) according to daily performance, collaboration with consumer sales to define distribution actions, including roll out of new shops/franchisees etc….
•Consumer offers portfolio management, consumer events organization, production of sales supports including advertising in collaboration with Marcomms department
•Launch of new offers/promotions: training of all involved entities within the company
•Ad hoc strategy and action plans according to market evolutions

Weekly
•Weekly activity dashboard
•Weekly follow up of action plan
•Weekly coordination meeting with consumer sales

Monthly
•Monthly activity report to SLT: Financial performance/ acquisitions, CHURN, action plan
•EoM financial comments on consumer segment
•Roadmap refresh/update

Quaterly
•Quaterly financial reforecast on consumer segments (3+6, 6+9…)
•Roadmap refresh/Update

Yearly
•Yearly forecast (budget) on consumer segments, Marketing plan & strategy on consumer segments, consolidation with other marketing roadmaps (other market managers + CMO)

Required Qualifications:

-HND level of education – preferably in Marketing/Business Studies
-Management Experience (minimum 3 years) preferable in a commercial or marketing role
-Teamwork skills (including virtual teaming)
-Excellent communications skills (written, oral and active listening)
-Good computing skills (spreadsheets and word)
-Works well in pressurized environment
