Description:

Complete ownership of the relationship between IT and their dedicated portfolio of customers.
Direct responsibility for the entire life cycle of the multiple solutions under their responsibility, guaranteeing accuracy, quality and time line accomplishment.
Ensure a complete understanding of the client’s needs and an effective communication with suppliers.

•Deliver End-to-End Solutions for all Business Units (Mobile, MFS, Digital, Corporate and Home) requirements. They will work closely with Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Customer Operations and other business areas, creating convincing proposals and successfully delivering within budget and timelines.
•Plan, design and implement regional solutions (CRM, Middleware, Billing, Rating, Activation, etc.) and other IT platforms.
•Develop and maintain the System Architecture, in line with the frameworks. Define standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software and interconnection for information systems. The scope includes BSS/OSS and Add-On platforms.
•Governance of the SOA architecture (Service Oriented Architecture), continuously identifying areas of improvement in our Solutions Framework and taking initiatives to optimize our existing processes.
•Responsible for the entire life cycle of the multiple solutions and applying methods for resolving issues that can occur throughout the product lifecycle.
•Responsible for ensuring that all development practices are in compliance with company’s best practices, policies and procedures.
•Validate the appropriate software architecture documentation based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification and ensure alignment with the regional system architecture.
•Ensure the overall integrity of the proposed software architecture throughout the full product lifecycle and continuously optimize overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within each IT domain and across domains.
•Understand company’s commercial processes to ensure the most beneficial solution is implemented in the operations.
•Ensure fact-based compliance of the business requirements, project status, product performance and support services based on appropriate business KPIs and KQIs.
•Coordinate efforts of Regional and Local Software Architects to maximize benefits and synergies for the region.

 

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (System Engineer, IS Engineer, Information Systems Engineer, IT Engineer, Network Systems Engineer)
•Post graduate and/or courses in Business Administration, Finance or IT Management are desirable
•Minimum 6 years experience working in the IT industry (Telcos preferably)
•Understanding of project management principles – PMP courses are desirable
•Deep understanding of “As-a-Service models” which includes SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
•Knowledge of the Application Lifecycle Management models
•Proven project management experience in CRM, ERP and Billing. (For Telcos preferably)
•Minimum 5 year experience in software design, development and implementation using software factory methodology and SOA Architecture (Telcos preferably)
•At least 3 years of software blueprint preparation
•Experience in contract management

•Strong technical understanding of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), internet-related applications and technologies (JAVA, Application servers, databases, Operating Systems, Content Management, networks)
•Strong knowledge of multiple system development methodologies
•Strong knowledge and solid experience in Business Processes for Telcos (eTOM Model preferably)
•Strong knowledge and solid experience in CRM processes and applications (For Telcos preferably)
•Strong knowledge and solid experience in Billing and VAS processes and applications (For Telco’s preferably)
•Knowledge in developing and maintaining ITIL policies and procedures
•Knowledge and experience in project management. Must have very strong skills in project Initiation (particularly in requirements gathering, understanding the level of detail required to proceed with any project), project estimation, planning and rapid mobilization
•Good understanding of computer system characteristics, features, and integration capabilities
•Experience in connecting and applying complex technologies to business strategies. Ability to understand complex, technical subjects
•Knowledge in Agent Computing
•Knowledge in Diameter Gx/Gy, MML interfaces
•Knowledge in USSD Gateway, SMS Gateway and DPI/PCRF Architecture and Interface
